About The Programme :

* In order to expose students to various frontiers in science, Raja Ramanna Centre for Advanced Technology,Indore runs a Young Scientist Research Programme during the summer.

*  Students who are presently in the first year of M.Sc. (Physics), or in the fourth year of integrated M.Sc. (Physics) or in the third year of B.E./B.Tech. (Engineering Physics/Mech. Engg./Electrical Engg/Electronics/Metallurgy) are eligible to apply. 

* Applications should be sent in the format available on our web page. The candidate should arrange for at least one letter of recommendation that can be sent by post, fax or e-mail.

* Selected candidates will be paid round-trip train fare by II class (sleeper) and a stipend of Rupees 2,500 per month. In addition, free accommodation will be provided at the RRCAT Guest House.

*  Those selected for the programme will work on a project during their 8 weeks stay at the Centre from May 14, 2012 to July 06, 2012. At the end of the research programme, they will give a presentation on their research work.
